This Poll addresses the recent explosion of high density developments being approved in Dawson County, GA. Most specifically it addressed the proposed Etowah Bluffs Development. Many Citizens feel frustrated that our Board of Commissioners, Planning Department and others seem completely tone deaf to average citizens concerns with this Development. Many Citizens believe that this project is being set up to be rubber stamped for approval on July 21 2022. A recent Article gives evidence that the Legal Process required to Rezone some of the parcels was potentially not followed. The Publisher of the FOBC Newspaper has scheduled consultation with an Attorney to get their input as to the legal options. That information will be distributed to citizens that express interest below.
The following questions are designed as a straw poll to take the mood of the Citizens, and to explore what interest there may be in exploring the option of litigation to try and block what may have been an illegal Rezoning Process.
